JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a passionate Avionics Integration & Test Engineer to join our young and growing team. As an Avionics Integration & Test Engineer, you are responsible for the integration of our Avionics systems and equipment, requirements-based testing of avionics systems and components such as Flight Control Computers, Navigation Systems, Flight Test Instrumentation, Cockpit Displays, Control Inceptors, and others. The general work is ranging from requirements engineering and management, test development, test coordination, test implementation to test conduction and reporting for validation and verification. Shape the future of aerial mobility with us by ensuring that all our systems fulfill all requirements. You will work in close cooperation with regulatory partners and suppliers.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Integrate avionics systems and equipment

Perform avionics integration into subsystems into systems

Bring avionics hardware and software together
- Validate requirements and verify implementations by tests, modeling, and simulation
- Take over coordination of integration activities and test campaigns

Develop and implement integration test setups in cooperation with others
- Evaluate test results and create documentation according to aerospace standards and our development processes
- Do In-The-Loop testing
- Analyze data-bus systems
- Implement test automation

Be part of our flight-testing campaigns and see your developments fly

Coordinate with other departments and external suppliers

Continuously challenge and improve the technical concepts, tools, and methods
YOUR PROFILE
you should …
- Hold an academic degree in Systems/Electronic/Aerospace Engineering or a related field
- Have 5 years of professional experience in avionics system integration or aerospace testing

Have a clear understanding of safety-critical development processes based on DO-178C, DO-254, DO-331 and ARP4754

Have strong motivation to establish processes and organizational structures

Have a high level of target-oriented self-management with the ability to work in a team as well as autonomously

Have excellent problem solving, communication, and technical writing skills
-
Have fluent English language skills
