JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a passionate working student to join our Flight Control team. As a working student, you will deal with deployment of the developed flight control algorithms on the Pixhawk 6X board for a scaled prototype UAV. Furthermore, you will support in flight testing and flight test data evaluation for the scaled prototype. Working in our team means to learn something new every day, work with many different disciplines and teams and actively contribute to shaping tomorrow’s aviation.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage deployment of flight control software on the Pixhawk 6X hardware.
- Setup toolchain for data logging on Pixhawk 6X
- Setup connection and interaction of the software deployed on Pixhawk 6x with Remote Control Hardware
- Support in flight tests and flight test data evaluation
YOUR PROFILE
you should …- Be currently enrolled in a university program in Master of Science in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical course of study
- Have a good knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
- Have hands-on experience in flying UAVs or RC aircraft
- Generally be interested in aviation and flight control development in particular
- Be self-driven and have a structured way of working
- Be passionate and curious about electric aviation and novel aircraft concepts
- Have good English language skills
- have experience in at least one of these programming languages: Python, C++, HTML/Javascript
- are familiar with fundamentals of electronics
