JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a passionate airworthiness engineer to join our young and growing team. You will be part of our airworthiness department and responsible for certification packages around our prototypes as well as supporting the development of the Design Organization Handbook procedures. Contact with the certification authorities (national and international) and international committee work is part of your job. The final goal of all your activities is creating airworthiness of our product. Shape the future of aerial mobility with us by joining our airworthiness department and dig into the details.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create certification packages and oversee their submission to regulatory agencies to obtain product and type certification

Prepare and review certification documents and data

Coordinate project certification activities as required

Exchange about testing activities with the respective departments

Assist in the development and maintenance of the procedures of the Design Organisation Handbook

Represent ERC in meetings with the authorities as well as participation in international working groups and committees

Interpret airworthiness requirements and advise the various departments on all airworthiness and certification issues
YOUR PROFILE
you should …
- Have at least five years of experience in Initial Airworthiness
-
Hold a Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering Bachelors Degree (BEng/BSc) or comparable
- Have previous experience in the creation of certification procedures in line with regulatory requirements or Engineering Quality standards
- Have very good German skills

Have experience with EASA Part-21 or similar regulations
- Be able to travel occasionally on short notice, both domestically and internationally

Previous experience of working with rulemaking associations including EuroCAE, ASTM, GAMA, SAE
