JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a passionate Working Student to join the flight test team at ERC. In this exciting role, you will work closely with our Flight Test Engineers and Test Pilots daily, gaining hands-on experience in planning, preparing, and executing ground and flight tests of our full-scale eVTOL aircraft. Furthermore, you will actively participate in flight tests of our unmanned subscale prototypes and support the team in various operational tasks. Shape the future of aerial mobility with us by actively contributing to the success of our flight test programs.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in ground and flight test activities at the airfield
- Prepare flight test orders and test cards
- Prepare and review post-test reports and other test documents
- Support the management of flight test equipment and post-processing of test data
- Support Flight Test Engineers and Test Pilots in day-to-day activities
- Support crew training and test preparation activities
YOUR PROFILE
you should …- Be enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s program of mechanical/aerospace engineering or comparable
- Have basic knowledge of MATLAB
- Have experience in flight operations with unmanned or manned aircraft (desired)
- Have a high motivation to perform a variety of tasks on test site but also in the office
- Be based in Ottobrunn or Munich or around any of the two locations
- Be highly proficient in both spoken and written English
