JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a motivated working student to support our Flight Test Instrumentation Team. FTI includes both hardware (various sensors, harness, data acquisition units, cameras, modems) as well as software (data conversion, real-time display, post-flight analysis etc.) Your daily task at ERC would focus on software development in the context of data analysis and post processing.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to our current tool landscape for data processing
- Improve data analysis tools including graphical displays, analytics as well as video processing
- Create and implement concepts for automated data handling and file transfer
- Collaborate with experts from different teams to gather their requirements towards the toolchain
- Get involved in the test campaign of our full-scale, full-mass eVTOL prototype
YOUR PROFILE
you should …- Be enrolled in a Master of Science program in Aerospace, Software/Data, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical course of study
- Strong experience in data processing with python (numpy, pandas, ideally also with graphical display in bokeh)
- Ideally have some first experience with version control systems (git)
- Have some experience in writing well-structured software tools
- Bring basic knowledge in web development / front-end user interface / Javascript
- Have a basic knowledge in MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Powerpoint)
- Have a “get done” mentality and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with others
- Be fluent in English language
